Rusovecké rameno is a blind arm of the Danube, into which water flows through underground paths. This means that there is almost completely stagnant water there and it is necessary to paddle during the whole voyage. We will enter the water in the forest in the houseboat area in village Rusovce. Access to water is a bit more complicated here, since there is a dense forest, not far from our parked van.

After entering the water, there will be a short briefing with your instructor. Because the water is stagnant, the route is full of fallen trees and old branches, which sometimes need to be bypassed or climbed, so the required skills will be practiced.

This tour is worth all the possible obstacles though. On both sides of the shore there is a dense, virgin forest, where you have the opportunity to see a lot of wild animals such as beavers, otters or deer.

The water in this branch is transparent, due to the fact that it is not directly connected to the main river Danube and the water flows into it through underground paths that filter it.

About halfway through the voyage we will stop at a stone beach, where we will refresh ourselves and take photos or selfies :)

We will continue along the side branch of the arm, which is narrower. Paddling through it will make you feel like part of nature and the forest. At the end, we turn around and return the same route to the place where we boarded.

Our delivery is waiting for us at the finish. After packing the paddleboards, you can depart by car. After such an unforgettable experience, you will definitely have some stories to share with your friends.
